Hey guys! I'm a photographer and videographer and founder of Mirrors Media (MM). Photography and filming are just one of my many passions! To create a new way of doing senior pictures, was something I decided to delve into. For me, the standard planned poses with a colored background of a senior picture day is a bit. . . dated. Sure, they're good pictures! It's something parents look forward to receiving. But for me, I would have been ecstatic to have the opportunity to be a "model" for a day. 

 

After graduating from St. Jean Baptise High School, I moved onto acting. I auditioned for Wilhelmina which was a dream of mine to get into, and I was signed. They put me down as actor but as a model too, eventhough I didn't audition for it. I took classes and did my first shoot, and LOVED IT! It was feeling I wouldn't trade for the world! Being on set, having my make-up done, and wardrobe changes were so much fun! My contract expired eventally, and my husband and I were starting a family, so I thought, "maybe I'll try something else." Enter photography and filming. After following an amazing mind-blowing photographer, Sal Cincotta from St. Louis, who decided to take Senior photos to another level, I decided New York High School Seniors deserve this kind of next level photo shoot! It's not just a shoot, it's an experience! I would have never gotten to get my model photo shoot experience if I was never signed.  Now, you guys don't have to be signed to get this kind of photo shoot experience. You just gotta go to a high school that is partnered with MM and schedule your shoot.

 

If you're nervous, don't feel confident or comfortable, and wanna get ideas and learn what to do when on location in front of the camera, I have a class you guys might wanna take. I take what I've learned, and teach it to you. It's basically, Modeling 101. At the end of the class, I hope you'll leave feeling more confident, excited for your shoot, and a little more knowleadgable on movement and angles.
